The FSA

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) is an independent non-governmental body, given statutory powers by the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. From 14 th January 2004 the FSA took on responsibility for regulating firms that carry out general insurance business. Composite Legal Expenses Limited is authorised to carry out regulated activities and as such is authorised and regulated by the FSA.

Ministry of Justice – Claims Management Regulator

The Compensation Act 2006 provides the statutory framework for the regulation of claims management activities. The offence of providing claims management services without authorisation or exemption came into force on 23 April 2007.

Composite Legal Expenses Limited carry out Claims management services and as such is regulated by the Ministry of Justice.

Composite Legal Expenses is regulated by the Ministry of Justice in respect of Regulated Management Activities. It's registration is recorded on the website www.claimsregulation.gov.uk
