Cardiff-based firm is top UK financial services company in Inner City 100 Index!

Cardiff-based Composite Legal Expenses is the top-rated UK financial services company in the annual Inner City 100 Index and has been ranked sixth overall in the index of 100 winning inner city companies published in the Financial Times on 17 November.

And, at the Inner City 100 Awards ceremony in London on 16 November, Composite’s Managing Director John Mullin and Schemes Development Manager David Gilchrist, received the special Award for the fastest growing company from Wales. The Award was presented following a winners’ reception hosted by Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown at 11 Downing Street.

Dubbed the ‘enterprise Oscars’ by Chancellor Gordon Brown, the Awards recognise companies in inner city areas who have demonstrated growth over a sustained period and who have contributed to the revitalisation of those areas.

The Inner City 100 is a project of leading regeneration think tank nef (the new economics foundation), supported by the Financial Times and the London Business School and sponsored by The Royal Bank of Scotland.

Commenting on their position in the Index and on winning the special Award for Wales, Composite’s MD, John Mullin said:
